In this episode, I introduce and talk a little bit about myself. I go over how I got into filmmaking, my passion for cinematography, and the journey thus far. I chat about why I started The Setlife Podcast along with my goals, mission, and hopes for it. Hope this show can be helpful to someone out there. If I can connect and relate with just one person, I feel like I have accomplished what I need to! As said in this episode, I do not see myself as an expert. I am still new to this industry and have a long way to go, however, I hope you can tag along with me in pursuit to becoming the best storyteller you can be.
Goals for the podcast
- Engaging in deep conversations and connect with fellow filmmakers, mentors, and friends.
- Inspire other filmmakers and equip them with the tools to best tell their stories.
- Breakdown my work and really analyze it. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
- Release an episode once a week on Thursdays.
Just because I like you guys so much, I will share with you one of the most embarrassing things in my life. The film from my fourth-grade book report. You even get the bonus Q&A with the director for free!
Next week we will be chatting with Evan Bourcier host and creator of The Super Secret Filmcast! Stay toned for more great content.
If you enjoy this podcast and the content I am creating, it would mean a lot to subscribe and rate it on iTunes! This helps spread the word and be able to create more content for you. Until next time - Reid M. Petro
